Dress Code

Rules & Guidelines
Before the Puja
- Share accurate names, gotras and birth charts (if available) at least a day in advance
- Avoid non-vegetarian food, alcohol and tobacco from the previous evening
- Bathe and wear clean clothes before the live stream begins
- Keep a small offering of red flowers or jaggery ready if you wish to participate from home
During the Puja
- Join the stream 10 minutes early to confirm audio and video
- Remain seated and attentive through the sankalp and mantra chanting
- Avoid loud conversation or phone calls during the havan and aarti
- Offer a silent prayer for the couple/individual during the closing aarti
After the Puja
- Consume the prasad and tie the raksha sutra as guided by the priest, typically within a week
- Continue any specific vrat or mantra japa the priest recommends for full dosha nivaran
- Avoid finalising major marriage dates for at least the period the priest specifies, if advised
- Keep the recording and puja receipt for family records
