How your Kaal Sarp Dosha Puja is performed
- 1
Your pandit opens the video call from the Ujjain temple premises and shows the sankalp setup, including the Naga pratima to be worshipped on your behalf.
- 2
Sankalp is taken aloud with your name, gotra and intention read from a card visible on camera.
- 3
Rudra abhishek is performed on the Shiva Lingam with Panchamrit, milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar, followed by Ganga jal.
- 4
The Naga pratima is bathed and adorned, then worshipped while the Naga Gayatri mantra is recited and the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra is chanted.
- 5
The Naga pratima is carried to the Shipra ghat for a symbolic visarjan, released into the river as a mark of closing the dosha cycle.
- 6
The call ends with a closing blessing addressed to you by name, still live.

Frequently asked
What is Kaal Sarp Dosha and how does this puja help?
Kaal Sarp Dosha is said to arise in a birth chart when all planets fall between Rahu and Ketu. This puja, a Rudra abhishek combined with Naga pratima worship, mantra chanting and symbolic visarjan, is a traditional remedy performed to pacify the affliction.
Why is this puja performed in Ujjain?
Our on-site pandits perform the ritual in the tradition associated with Kaal Sarp remedies, using the Shiva Lingam abhishek and the Shipra riverside for visarjan, the same sequence followed at Ujjain, one of India's most significant Shaiva pilgrimage sites.
What happens to the Naga idol during visarjan?
After worship, the silver or copper Naga pratima is carried to the Shipra ghat and released into the river as a symbolic closing of the dosha cycle. The Enhanced and Family packages include a recorded proof video of this visarjan, delivered to you afterward.
Can I book this puja on behalf of a family member who isn't present?
Yes, the sankalp only needs the person's name and gotra, which you can provide at booking. The Family package lets you add up to five names and gotras to a single live sankalp.
What if I can't join live at the scheduled time?
We'll work with you to find a slot that fits your time zone, including US and UK evening hours for NRI families. Your session recording is also available for 30 days if you need to watch it after the fact.
